The following are schemes that show how committed to enhancing the engineering skills pipeline the Academy and other institutions are.  These schemes provide funding and support for students to further their education and development.

Engineering Leadership Advanced Awards – Royal Academy of Engineering

Engineering Advanced Leadership Award

Provides support for engineering undergraduates in UK universities who have the potential to become leaders in engineering and who are able to act as role models for future engineers.


Launchpad Competition – Royal Academy of Engineering

Launchpad

Awards a cash prize and training to an entrepreneurial young engineer.


QUEST Award Scheme – The Institution of Civil Engineers

 shutterstock_402458263Provides scholarships and travel awards to students on undergraduate courses and technicians on Level 3, 4 and 5 courses, such as BTECs, HNC, HND and Foundation Degrees


E3 Scholarship – E3 (Electrical Energy Engineering) Academy

The Academy is a consortium of leading UK companies and universities providing support for undergraduate students studying Electrical Engineering. As well as a generous scholarship, E3 scholars receive paid industrial training, guidance from a company mentor and the opportunity to build a professional network at the annual Summer School.
