Aston STEM Education Centre (Aston University)

ASEC’s primary aim is to be the leading STEM Education Innovation and Research Centre in the UK, in the top 5 in Europe and in the top 10 globally with a clear focus on the student learning experience.

Manufacturing Industry Education Research Group (Cambridge University)

It aims to research areas where new knowledge will benefit the learning and development of:

  • people in becoming effective and excellent practitioners in manufacturing industry roles
  • manufacturing industry companies in developing and sustaining the capabilities needed to compete in the global industrial ecosystem.

Engineering Education Research Group (University of Portsmouth)

EERG’s aims to take an evidence based approach to enhancing Engineering Education. The activities of its group members include:

  • conducting Systematic Reviews and Meta Analysis that answer relevant research questions.
  • developing and evaluating smart technologies that enhance learning, teaching and academic practice.
