The following are schemes that show how committed to enhancing the engineering skills pipeline the Academy and other institution are.  These schemes provide funding and support for postgraduate students to further their education and development.

Sainsbury Management Fellowships – Royal Academy of Engineering


The Sainsbury Management Fellowship scheme, funded by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, enables engineers of high career potential to undertake full time MBA courses at major international business schools. Since 1987, the scheme has supported more than 300 engineers.


ERA Foundation Entrepreneurs Award – Royal Academy of Engineering


The Royal Academy of Engineering ERA Foundation Entrepreneurs Award encourages and rewards creativity and innovation among early-career engineering researchers working in UK universities, in the broad field of electro-technology.
