Professor Robin Clark
Following a 14 year career working in industry as both an engineer and manager, Robin joined Aston University in 2003 and has developed a creative teaching practice that in 2007 resulted in the award of a National Teaching Fellowship. Robin’s research focus is on Engineering Education and he has built a strong research capability at Aston that in 2016 led to the formation of Aston STEM Education Centre (ASEC). Robin co-ordinates the UK and Ireland Network in Engineering Education Research and is currently on the Board of Directors of SEFI. His interests lie in all areas of Engineering and Applied Science Education. Robin is currently Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching at Aston, is a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Manager, as well as being a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
