Director of Education

Rhys is the Director of Engineering and Education at the Royal Academy of Engineering. Rhys has responsibility for the diversity work of the Academy, it’s education policy and research activity and all education programmes, teacher CPD and curriculum resource materials. Rhys also oversees the collaborative education alliances which the Academy hosts; Education for Engineering (E4E), the collective of 36 Professional Engineering Institutions, Engineering Council, EngineeringUK and Royal Academy of Engineering, and the UK Forum for Computing Education (UKforce), bringing together key organisations in computing education. Both bodies provide clear and consistent information and advice to government on all aspects of STEM education and skills policy
